First tip: Shop your yard. We have a eucalyptus tree that we are able to clip branches from and, paired with a few stems of greenery from Trader Joes, they are the perfect base on the table runner to not only bring in greenery (adding instant warmth) but also add texture. We simply criss-crossed them down the table over a table runner. Easy.
Next we added 3 plump pumpkins (these can be real or fake) down the table. then filled in the gaps with smaller pumpkins and/or gourds.
I chopped up a thick branch then drilled a hole in the top to make (4) candlesticks and just added some cheap dollar store or Walmart candles to the top, placing them in any gaps down the center of the table. Look how pretty they are lit, total fall ambiance nailed!
Lastly, (again, shopping my yard!) I cut up a large stump that was leftover from a summer storm wreckage and made quick chargers to go under my plates. I love all of the natural wood tones together!
