This makes me sad to see how much my little boys have grown since shared their vintage industrial style bedroom with beds we made for them then a few years later with updated boys bedroom decor. Now we’re chatting shared bedroom ideas for teenage brothers and I’m still having a hard time believing my guys are teens!
Their last beds were super cute but fell apart within 2 years. So frustrating.
Their room is a decent size but my older teen is a neat freak and wanted a bunk bed to save on space and to get more storage. So we researched sturdy bunk beds that will support teenage boys and found this set.

My older son is a football and lacrosse player, he’s nearly 200 lbs of muscle. My younger teen is pushing 140 so when I say we needed sturdy, I meant SUPER sturdy.
We’ve had their bed for 4 months now and love it. It hasn’t budged a bit.
And the three of us put it together all by ourselves! A little cussing and a lot of frustration but we did it in one evening.
Bonus: their zipper bedding keeps their bed. Double win!

Yes, our sons weigh 330 lbs combined. I’m another 140+ lbs and often lay down and chat with them with no problems.
