I personally didn’t develop a love for carrot desserts until my adult years and have to grab a slice of carrot cake from Kneader’s every couple of months. I love it with nuts and carrot chunks. What do YOU prefer?
Look at that icing… mmm! It is the perfect topping to these cake light cookies, so airy and chewy and flavorful!

Do you think 5 year old kids would like these? Looking for a carrot cookie without nuts to make my church class. Thanks.
Hi Charlene, Yes I think they would. I have a 6 year old who enjoys them as there’s no spices. You can omit the shredded carrots in the batter if you think they won’t like that texture. 🙂
Happy baking!
