easy Christmas kitchen decor ideas |free printable

–Well HAPPY 1st of DECEMBER!  We can’t believe Christmas is 24 days away, ahhh!! SO MUCH to do!!  We teamed up with World Market and 13 lovely blog friends to share some easy Christmas kitchen decor ideas to get you in the spirit of the season.  And of course we’ve got some freebies for you like our Christmas antlers free printable {scroll down for the link}.  And a sneak peek at a yummy recipe we’ll share later this week too (;

Our mom just remodeled her kitchen and this is her first Christmas in the new space.  We thought it would be fun to surprise her with some classic red Christmas tones, her favorite style.  

Of course we had to throw in  a quick DIY project.  We snagged the J and Y from JoAnn’s using our 40% off coupons then painted them red with basic acrylic craft paint.  We double-sided-taped them to the wall then sandwiched this twig & pinecone wreath and this darling jute stag deer head in between.  Cute and quick!

Our mom is a huge hot cocoa fan.  We dumped some mix into a pretty jar then added mallows and sticks to apothecaries for a cozy corner in her kitchen.   

What goes great with hot chocolate?  Cookies! Brownies! Any kind of yummy dessert.  We had to bring home this embossed merry and bright cookie jar to store yummies in for late night treats.
