23 teacher appreciation gift ideas
Did you know I used to teach? It’s true… I was a K-6 art teacher. I loved seeing the creativity from the kids as I watched their talent develop. I just knew when the last day of school came, I too, would be recognized as one of the special teachers who touched kid’s lives. My most favorite thing I received from one of my students at the end of one school year? A pink carnation. (I know what you’re thinking: art teachers don’t get as cool gifts as their students full time teachers do. You’re right! LOL) If you’re looking for something more for teacher appreciation gift ideas than a pink carnation, check out 23 teacher appreciation gift ideas! We also have a dedicated Teacher Appreciation Pin Board full of hundreds of gift ideas for teachers!

I had no idea where to get nice information about teacher appreciation gifts, luckily I found this one here. The information is absolutely great.
Great Ideas. I have one that I have never seen mentioned.
I go to garage sales, estate sales, antique stores, Ebay and buy Old vintage elementary school books. I give them to the teachers and the staff for Teacher’s Appreciation Week. I have even come across vintage lunch lady books!
It is fun to search and our teachers LOVE them!
Ebay is the best for selection and price.
I had no idea that you were an art teacher, but that does explain your incredible creativity!! Thanks for gathering up these great ideas!!
love this, very timely for me!!!
Love these ideas and thanks for reminding me I better start thinking about this……this is my son’s first year in playschool so I admit this is all new to me, something I would have completely overlooked (and then felt silly about when all the other kids give the teacher a gift!)
So cool! Looks like some teachers might have a really nice day =)
By the way, did you know: Teacher appreciation day is something so uniquely American – German teachers usually don’t get any gifts (when students graduate, they might give a gift).
Tons of great ideas! My son has a male teacher… They are a little harder to pick a gift for. Can’t go wrong with a gift card or treats though. 🙂
Thanks for the great list of teacher gifts
