Paper transfer spring eggs

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group and ALL YOU magazine but as always, opinions are always our very own. 🙂 #pmedia #lifeforless

We hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday! If you’re like us, you’ll be keeping your spring decorations around until Memorial Day before replacing them with summer hues. In the meantime, we’re excited to welcome these cute paper transfer (decoupaged) spring eggs to the mix as they’re cheery and just scream spring!

We spied the ALL YOU magazine while checking out at FRYS (Kroger) a few weeks ago and created our own version of cute floral and butterfly printed paper eggs inspired by pretty patterned napkin eggs in the April issue.

Making your own is a snap! Besides scrapbook paper you’ll need scissors, decoupage adhesive, a foam brush and a handful of hollow or plastic eggs, (we used hard boiled as they were in our egg hunt this weekend and our little daughter and nieces were excited to find pretty eggs. LOL!) These were a cinch to make and we transformed a blank slate in less than 20 minutes.

Apply the decoupage adhesive on the paper. Apply a thin coat over all of the paper to seal to egg. Let dry.
