  1. iI love this project but would appreciate more details about two key elements. The how to of the stencils for both the snowflake and the lettering. I saw the website for the fonts but still don’t know how to make that all happen.

    1. Hi Cathy,

When you download fonts to your computer, you now have access to create signs like ours. So you need a machine to help you out. If you don’t have a vinyl cutter, our friend Marni can cut for you: [email protected] We use an industrial cutter so we can cut 24″ x however long we need. If you have a Cricut, here are the basics: http://us.cricut.com/home/learn/software/design-space/ If you have a Silhouette, here are the basics: http://www.silhouetteamerica.com/learn

      Hope that helps!! (:

  2. I’m curious what color blue acrylic paint you used? It’s lovely. I plan to create something similar using snowflake shape files I purchased for my Silhouette Cameo. Thank you for the inspiration!

    1. Hi Misti,

It’s a pressed plywood, we snagged it at Home Depot. The wood is 24″ x 18″. The snowflake is 10″ and the wording is 3″ x 14″.

      Thanks!
