We’re so excited to share our easy to decorate spring mantel along with 26 talented blog buddies to bring you some more spring mantel ideas and springy vignettes as part of the Seasonal Simplicity Spring Series! You’re going to love all this springy inspiration…over 25 new, fresh spring mantel decor ideas, all in one spot! As we were perusing pins for our spring mantel decorating ideas on Pinterest, we noticed the trend of tulip decorating ideas. We just bought our first batch of artificial tulips and love how realistic they look AND feel! They were so cute in our cozy media room over the chilly winter months but I love them even more in my entryway! They are perfect in upcycled jars from my Valentine’s Day Mantel, I just rearranged the shelves for spring by swapping the florals.

How to Decorate Your Mantel for Spring

Easy to copy spring mantel decorations using an old window and wreath. Add tulips in old jars for affordable spring decor. #springdecorations #springmantel #manteldecor #tulips

When decorating your mantel for spring, create a natural path for the eye to follow. Think of a triangle when decorating a mantel and start with an anchor being the tallest piece then flowing down (shorter outward) from there. Layer the decor to keep the flow going. We started with this gorgeous old window frame that came with a spring wreath already attached to it. Two for the price of one AND it’s on sale right now!

Love this fresh spring mantel decor with lots of natural pieces. Decorating with tulips is an easy way to welcome spring into your home! #tulips #springdecor #springdecorations #tulipdecor

You’ll need to balance out your anchor piece by adding tulip decor to each side along with some taller pieces to create unity. We love old scales and old books and often add them to our mantels and shelves for added height and interest. Too much new looks like a store, old pieces add character and interest. We purchased little wood houses and painted them white last year. We linked some ceramic ones that would still look great on your own spring mantel.
