easy fall tablescape
I lovely love FALL and all things related to it… we welcome Arizona’s version of fall to mean cooler nights and shorter days. This is the time of year we plant our lush winter grass and everything comes to life… people emerge from the indoors to out while we enjoy the much anticipated cooler temps. And, it also means the holidays are near with good food and company around the dinner table catching up from the busy year. We welcomed some new additions to our linen collection and wanted to share them with you to show you how EASY it is to make a fall tablescape to house said food and company!
We first laid a pretty Pumpkin Plaid Fall Tablecloth down to set the tone for the tablescape… plus, that fringe! I die! In my opinion, patterned tablecloths are a must with little hands around as it hides the sure spills more than a solid. 😉
We snagged this tablecloth from April Cornell’s new fall line and you can bet she has handful of other accessories to compliment this tablecloth but we accented ours with her fringe Gold Cloth Napkins then paired them with these beautiful Metal Rose Napkin Rings.
The napkins come in 15 other colors but we loved that the gold pulled the mustard from the tablecloth and really emphasizes fall.
We saw these little fall themed picks at our local hobby store and knew the pumpkins and gourds would make the pretty metal rose napkin rings pop.
Floral + pumpkins = happiness, am I right?
Did you notice my putka pumpkin pods? I die at how cute they are with the plaid!
To get this look you really only need a handful of musts:
- Tablecloth
- Runner (this is burlap from the craft section!)
- Plates from our everyday wear (dinner and salad plates)
- Napkins + napkin rings
From there it’s all about simple accessorizing as shown. 🙂
I used fabric pumpkins scattered with the pukta pods, candle sticks, and leaves. Easy peasy!
I also paired the top of my dining dresser with a faux leaf garland, felt balls and one of our wood cut outs that says EAT… very appropriate for the holidays, right? 😉
