diy watercolor treat bags
We want to introduce and welcome Cheryl of A Pretty Cool Life to share her pretty crafts with you all once a month. She’s sharing a cute DIY to pass out treats in, perfect for Valentine’s candy!
I’ve been known to go a bit over the top with pink and hearts for Valentine’s Day but since I know not everybody shares my affinity for the mushy stuff, these are a simple way to give treats without being overly festive. {And they easily work for other holidays, too!}
You’ll need:
- medium weight paper
- watercolor set and brush
- scissors or paper trimmer
- glue stick
- washi tape
Start by painting several sheets of paper with watercolors. Let dry completely.
Trim sheets into 6 x7 inch pieces.
Using a glue stick, attach two of the 6 inch sides of the paper together into a tube.
Flatten one side of the tube and tape shut, creating an open ended pouch.
Fill pouch with treats or trinkets. Fold end in opposite direction of other end {perpendicular to first piece of tape} and tape shut. Please pin so your friends can make these too!
You can find Cheryl on Bloglovin’ + Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter. Take a peek at her Green Army Men Party Favor or A-MAZE-ING Maze Valentine Party Favors.
A big thank you to cute Cheryl for being here! (:
Fun! I’m all about treat bags! 😉
Agree! These are so fun, aren’t they? I love that they are not specific to V-Day, too! (:
