We’ll show you how easy it is to make our original wood happy fall sign with a cute pumpkin cutout, designed by us and customized from Lolly Letters!
Supplies to make a Happy Fall sign
- 15″ x 15″ wood square
- 1″x2″ furring strips, cut to size
- Happy Fall pumpkin cutout (or you can just buy it done here, ha!)
- Peach Paint + White Paint
- Stain
- 3 Foam Brushes
- Sander
- Brad Nailer (optional)
- Wood Glue + Painters Tape
- Sawtooth Hanger
How to make a wood fall sign
- Sand your wood and furring strips until smooth.
- Paint your square wood peach. We created a custom color but a close match would be DecoArt Peaches ‘n Cream.
- Paint the wood base white.
- Stain the frame.
- Wood glue the pumpkin cutout to the wood.
- Brad nail the frame in place.
- Hammer hanger on backside.
- Hang and enjoy!
