Lolly Jane

2-for-1 holiday {trio}

DIY· Vinyl Lettering· Wood Craft

30 Oct
Now that Halloween is {almost} over, we’re excited to decorate for Thanksgiving!…and since I’m a HUGE 2-for-1 fan…Christmas too!

{Thanksgiving trio}

Argggh, I took a bazillion pics to show you all how I made these fun&festive blocks and they didn’t transfer over!! So I’ll have to tell you how to make them.  Good news though, they’re very easy to make!  Read on for your own DIY…

{Christmas trio}

D – I – Y:
Supplies:
2×4 wood
2 styles of scrapbook paper
vinyl lettering or a stencil *I can cut the vinyl if you’re interested?
sandpaper
Mod Podge
paint brush
red acrylic paint, brown acrylic paint
Directions:
1) Cut 2×4 into 3 sizes:
{Turkey/tree block: 3.5″x7″ / Word blocks: 3/5″ x 6″}
2) Sand
3)  Paint front sides of turkey block brown, tree block red
4) Mod Podge scrapbook paper onto word blocks
5) after dry, apply lettering to designated blocks.
Easy right??  Total cost FREE as I had everything on hand!  Whoohoo!

    This is so fun! I love how it's double sided and is only three pieces of wood, more cuteness for the home and less to store:)
