Lolly Jane

Coffee Table makeover

Before/After· Inspiration

10 Sep
I ♥ Ikea.
And I loved {Catch that? past tense!} this inexpensive coffee table from there….
FOUR years ago!
The kids trashed her over the years & I attempted to paint the top red to hide all their marks.
….um, I know, didn’t look good AFTER my attempt either…

So I sanded her down,
{this before pic was taken after I sanded, the kids aren’t THAT big of monsters, lol!}
painted many light layers with yellow spray paint and….

TA~DA!
New life to a sad table I was debating about taking to Goodwill!
{Wish I could take that teal carpet to Goodwill but we’re renting, whaddayado…}
Loving it!
Oh, I used Rustoleum’s SATIN “Summer Squash” spray paint.
Good stuff 😉

    I have that same table! It's still in pretty good shape, cuz we have no kiddos at home, but one day it WILL get painted!
