“There is nothing more beautiful than sharing great food, conversation, and laughter with (another person).” –Francesco Bertolli
Are those words not so true? We cherish family dinners so much. We’ve talked about it many times, how those who are able to gather at our parents house every Sunday evening for a big family dinner. With 8 siblings, all married (nearly 40 grand kids between us), it’s quite the feat. My favorite thing to do is sit back and watch all the little interactions between the family; the sister-in-laws swapping mothering tips, the toddler girls playing tag, the boys tagging along with the dads as they throw the ball around outside. Such sweet memories for my kids as we did the same thing with my dad’s siblings and cousins before our Nana passed away 3 years ago.
