Make a color block vase of any shape or size in a few minutes with just 2 items, so easy that a DIYer of any level can do it! See how we styled for spring or any time of the year!
Servings 1Vase
Ingredients
Bouquet Vase
Spray Paintcolor of choice
Painters Tape
Instructions
Wash your vase in warm soapy water to ensure the painters tape/spray paint has nothing to prevent it from sticking to the vase.
Wrap tape around the middle of the vase, work your way down until the entire bottom half is covered.
I missed this picture but stuff your vase with newspapers or grocery sacks to ensure the overspray doesn’t get ti the bottom of the vase.
Shake spray paint and spray 2 light coats, (or until paint is no longer transparent on the glass). Let completely dry.
Remove tape and voila! Enjoy your new color block vase!
Notes
Now that your vase is done, time to fill it up with pretties! I made a stop by Trader Joe’s grocery store and paired a variety of fresh rose and wildflower stems with faux eucalyptus stems. I found a few purple (faux) sprigs leftover from this wreath and stuck them in as well since they coordinated with my peony colored spray paint!
