Glaze Donuts recipe

Easy glaze donuts recipe, no yeast required. Fast and delicious!

Ingredients

Donut Mix

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbs butter
  • 1/2 milk
  • 1/2 vanilla

Glaze mix

  • 1 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tbs milk
  • 2 tbs vanilla

Instructions

Donuts

  1. In 1 bowl, mix flour salt and baking powder.
  2. In separate bowl, mix sugar, egg, melted butter, milk, vanilla.
  3. Gradually add first bowl into second bowl.
  4. Stir with a wooden spool until dough forms.
  5. Roll out to 1/2" thick on floured surface.
  6. Cut into circles using a donut cutter or cup or by hand.
  7. Fry at 375* until golden brown.
  8. Dip in glaze while hot.
  9. YUM!

Glaze

  1. Add sugar in a medium bowl and slowly stir in the milk and vanilla, a little at a time, to make a smooth glaze.
