If you hate pumpkin then you may hate this post, haha I made a “quick stop” to TJ’s today and basically stuffed my pantry with alllll the pumpkin-y things they carry and HAD to share…🤤 Mmm!

For those that dislike pumpkin, please tell me why: is it the texture? Taste? Both are perks to me so I’m genuinely curious! (Can we at least both agree that the shape of them is the cutest? 🎃🎃🎃)

In other news, my DIY Serena & Lily knock off dip dyed stool got destroyed in the renovation this summer so I made a Target run and came home with this H&H replacement… so darling! (Linked in our LTK + stories tonight for ya, also comes in black.)

We were freshman in college, living away from home

We were freshman in college, living away from home. Phones started going crazy, people were gathering around the tv. We were so confused. We immediately called our dad and he said, “I think we’re at war.”

We were sent home from school + work and were glued to the TV… we never forget the horror, watching the footage people fall from the buildings. Loved ones gone in an instant. 😔 We all wept. And prayed.

The days and weeks after the attack, our country was so united. We flew home a weeks after 9/11 and our pilot immediately announced from the intercom to stand up and “kick ass” if there was a threat. We all cheered and were so relieved that someone said what we were all thinking. It was a time of unity we dearly miss.

We visited the 9/11 Memorial 2 years ago. We spent 2 hours there but could have easily stayed longer. Such a humbling experience. Being married to a police lieutenant, I can only imagine the fear but dedication running in those fallen towers as everyone else was running out. 🇺🇸 We are grateful for the hard work and sacrifices of our first responders.

May we never forget. Praying for comfort to those who are reliving the pain today, now marking two decades since they’ve hugged their loved ones.

Checking in with heavy hearts. 💔🇺🇸We’re

Checking in with heavy hearts. 💔🇺🇸We’re sick about the current state of our country (and the world, really) and are mourning for the loss and continued daily tragedy in Afghanistan. We’re grateful but also heartbroken for our military members and their families. Home decor seems so trivial right now, although it’s our job and we’ll be back to work tomorrow, today we’re focused on supporting those who are in pain… we try to be a happy place with peppy stories and a bright spot away from the always depressing news but are having a hard time. For us, prayer helps.

Pray for our military and government leaders. Pray for those affected by Hurricane Ida. Pray for the lineman working around the clock to restore power. Pray for the firefighters in the west. Pray for the healthcare workers. Pray for those fighting sicknesses. Just pray. 🤍

We just want to publicly thank our military members. Swipe to see the 13 that we are especially mourning for and thinking of… home at last. 🕊🇺🇸 So young. So loved. Always remembered. // pc: @laurelellsworth

New cat mom here and I now spend my days removing

New cat mom here and I now spend my days removing Frank from walking on every piece of furniture, as pictured 😂🐈‍⬛ (Hoooow does one train a feline to keep his paws on the ground?? LOL) He sure is cute, though.

Luckily he’s litter box trained so I don’t worry about accidents on my new rug… hello gorgeous! 😍 Our good friend Becca @rebeccadiy has her own rug line at @wellwovenrugs, so proud of this fellow Phoenix creative! Sharing more of this rug in stories (and a link) as this pattern is soooo pretty and is 50% off right now- woot woot! If you want soft + cozy and don’t want to babysit a rug, this one is for you!
