We thought it would be fun to share some oldie-but-goodie projects since a lot of you weren’t around this neck of the blogging woods a few years ago when they first published. Let’s call this new little series “craft from the past”, shall we?
Anyhoodle, along with our other 3 crafty sisters we have 4 crafty sisters-in-law. (Yes, that’s 9 total if you include us- it’s a little cray cray but we LOVE it!) One SIL in particular lives far far away from the rest of us in chilly Minnesota and sent us each a sweet love note in the form of a red heart holder made from felt. Original post seen here.
It’s cute as is but when you open it up….
…it’s bursting with LOVE in the sweet form of Valentine M&M’s. Cuuuute! She and our adorable nieces and nephew (now nephews!) put this together… definitely a fun craft to create as a family. Love that! Now let’s take a looksie at how you create this pretty little number sans pictures since we weren’t there when she made it
You’ll need:
(2) 5×5 felt squares (one red, one pink),pink thread and Valentine M&M’s.
Instructions:
Simply fold your felt in half & cut a candycane “C” shape out. Repeat with pink felt. Stitch “LOVE” on the red felt. Stitch red/pink felt together, leaving a small gap. Fill with Valentine M&M’s. Stitch close & send to someone who you love. ♥

I’m in MN right now! You all kind of sound like my family! None of my brothers are married yet, but I do have 6 sisters and we always have a blast when we’re together!
