Valentine State Art

We were asked by Brides.com to re-create our very popular State Art but to put a Valentine’s Day twist on it.  They also wanted the great state of NY included so we paired NY with Illinois since we have family from each state and could gift it to them on their anniversary.

Here’s a quick DIY to create your own Valentine State Art for you and your lover:

1 Google image “state outline”, choose your state, print as a 3″ x 5″ picture on copy paper.

2 Cut out each state.
3 We wanted out states to be glittery so we traced it backward onto glitter paper.
4 Cut out glitter paper states.
5 Glue stick onto white cardstock.
6 Add your “+” with a black Sharpie.  Repeat the process with google’d hearts and glue over state in the area you live ;)

Happy [homemade] Valentine’s gifting!
