Spring pennant and FREE subway art

I was putting freshly clipped roses from my garden into a mason jar this morning and realized all my windows were open with the sunshiny warmth peeking through… yep, it’s officially SpRiNgTiMe!  I  every bit of it.  After a quick run to my local fabric store, I whipped this Spring pennant and free subway art to match my cheery mood:

Want to make your own spring pennant?
Supplies:
(5) 4.5″x2″ scraps of fabric . (5) 5″x2.5″ piece of solid print fabric . chipboard letters . coordinating ribbon . hot glue


Directions:
1. Gather scraps of fabric.  2. Cut (5) 4.5″x2″ rectangles of fabric  3. Cut patterned fabric according to style of pennant, {a small triangle out of bottom half OR entire piece into a tall triangle} and place on solid color of fabric; cut out solid fabric, leaving about 1/2″ border.  4. Sew the pieces together then sew coordinating ribbon across top of pennant.  Simple tie together, hot glue chipboard letters on and display!
