The little house we live in is a small cottage in the woods that my husband’s mother and her husband bought that was meant as a weekend getaway, but it is actually our home now. My husband had a double lung and liver transplant 4 years ago after being terminal for 6 years. He is now on permanent disability, but is doing very well. We met 2-1/2 years ago and married a year ago October past. After his mom passed away, he got the cottage and it is now our home. We do little things to make it comfortable as we are able. The bathroom is the original to the house, and the house is about 60 years old. It would be wonderful to be able to have a new bathroom!

This is so exciting! I would really like to makeover our garage as a surprise for my husband for Father’s day. He is such an amazing father I would love to turn this space into a bit of a retreat for him. He works from home, homeschools our twin girls, cooks, cleans and works with children on the weekends.
