We received the cutest box of goodies from Canvas Corp, 7Gypsies + Tattered Angels. Because they so graciously hooked us up (by default, it’s a perk of being Jennie/Craft-o-Maniac‘s roomate at the upcoming EVO conference, thanks Jen!) we thought it was appropriate to use up their goods and make something fun to share with you all. Kelli whipped up this cute crochet or sewing tote design in no time!
The canvas tote was supplied by Canvas Corps and the adorable diamond pattern is from 7Gypsies. Love this stash!
Kelli brushed acrylic paint on the diamond, then stamped it onto the corner of the bag to give it a pop of color. Using her vinyl cutter, she designed a crochet collage of words for a friend of hers. You can easily change the words so they’re targeted for a sewer, a painter, etc.
Now you’re left with a cute sewing tote design to hold your sewing or crochet goods when you shop the craft stores!
ps: Here’s a painting tip that I use often: If you don’t want to waste time cleaning after painting, use a cupcake liner and a disposable brush. When you’re done crafting, just throw both away. EASY cleaup and NO mess!
